I recently stayed at Hotel Garden in Levanto for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right next to the beach and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The view from the balcony on the fifth floor was breathtaking, and it came equipped with chairs, a table, and sunbeds. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the locked parking lot was a great perk as finding parking in Levanto can be difficult. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a little fridge for convenience. The AC worked perfectly, keeping the room cool even in the hot weather.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Levento is the first town over from the villages in the Cinque Terre, it was very good value. While we had access to the Cinque Terre region we were in a nice sized town that had the sence of Italy being a little more removed from the touristy hussle and bussle while at the same time having access to the villages via train. The hotel itself was located straight across from the beach and the rooms were lovely. Breakfast was simple in a very pleasant setting. The hotel staff were very helpfull and accomodating. Would love to stay there again myself for a longer length of time.

Large rooms with balconies and sea view. Very helpful staff. Many bars and restaurants in vicinity with beach just across road under the viaduct. Good access for walking Cinque Terre paths either directly from hotel in Levanto or via boat or train (10 mins walk away). Levanto is good base for walking above paths with advantage of being flat on return from a hard day, good choice of eateries and has a lovely Medieival part to it - well worth exploring. Would definately use this hotel again.

Has no lift but taxi driver carried our bags both up and down so no problem, but no good if have walking difficulties. The old viaduct in front of hotel is a bit of an eyesore.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Levanto and had a fantastic experience. the location was excellent - right across the street from the beach and next to a pretty park square. The hotel itself was well-maintained and had a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean, with all needed amenities and a silent aircondition. The staff were extremely friendly and provided great service. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast included in our rate, with the most amazing cappuccinos. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

The wifi was good,staff was friendly and helpfull at all times,the location and the bulconys overlooking the front street.

This hotel is in a perfect location, right across the street from a beautiful beach and next to a pretty park square. The rooms have all needed amenities, and we enjoyed the large balcony overlooking the garden which was perfect for relaxing with a drink. The included breakfast with delicious cappuccinos was a great start to each day.

All was great, no complaints.

The owners who also manage this small hotel are very welcoming and helpful. The room was large; the bathroom was also spacious; breakfast is good and the hotel is good value. I highly recommend it.

This hotel was fantastic!. I am so glad we stayed in Levanto rather than in one of the villages - it is a wonerful spot and I think Hotel Garden is the best. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, the whole hotel was spotless, location was superb and the breakfasts were excellent. I want to go back again!

The only drawback was that the mattresses were a little hard

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was perfect, with the beach and a child-friendly park nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I loved that the hotel provided beach towels, umbrellas, and bikes. The breakfast buffet had a great range of options and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend this fantastic hotel.

Staff: The staff, without exception, went out of their way to be welcoming. The receptionists were all extremely knowledgeable about the different trails, ferries, trains and villages in the Cinqueterre and Lovanto regions. They also were very generous with their time and really wanted to ensure that every guest had a great time. Location: Hotel Garden is just north of Cinqueterre. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the station, with no steps on the walk if you turn right immediately after exiting the station. You will need to climb 1 flight of stairs in the hotel as it on the second floor. Trains to the cinqueterre villages are frequent and very cheap. Do take the ferry ride south to Portovenera (most convenient from Monterossa). The beach in Lovanto is a very short walk and is great for little kids. Breakfast consisted of 4 fruit juices, 3 cereals, breads, cheese, cold cuts, light-as-air croissants, fresh fruit, excellent jams and honeys. + coffee, tea etc. The hotel has been renovated recently and is spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious, the balcony ample for 2 people and the bathroom had a large sink, good shower, toilet and bidet.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very obliging and helpful. The location (about 10 min walk from Levanto station) was fine for us as we were traveling light with 1 small backpack, but could be a problem for less mobile people with lots of luggage.

Conveniently located near the beach, train station, and boat to Cinque Terre. Complimentary bicycles allowed us to explore nearby Bonassola. The breakfast had a good variety of choices including hot items and fresh coffee. The balcony offered a pleasant view of the surrounding area. The friendly staff provided excellent service.

When we arrived we were made feel very welcome. We knew it was close to train station so I asked a taxi driver how we could walk there and he dropped us for free! Really nice people in this area. Restaurants were close by and staff recommened the best dishes! Delicious! Loads of information given and a free internet service was available. Breakfast was ok. Also plenty time to run out the door into the sea and back in time for breakfast.

The hotel was very clean and the room was a good size for value.
